The Registry of Deeds and the Fitchburg Satellite Office will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2012 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Year in Review: 2011 Stats

For 2011, the Registry of Deeds recorded 140,718 documents and had revenue of $22,498,453.46. Also, the number of foreclosure deeds filed dropped by nearly 25% (2017 in '10 to 1522 in '11), a trend that we hope continues.

Holiday Hours

The Registry of Deeds will be closed in observance of Christmas on Monday, December 26, 2011. The Registry will also be closed on Monday, January 2, 2012 in observance of New Years.
