The Registry of Deeds wishes you a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.

The Registry is open on Monday Dec, 31st during normal hours, but will be closed on Tuesday, January 1st, 2013.

Fitchburg Satellite Office Closing on 11/30/12

As of November 30, 2012, the Worcester District Registry of Deeds will permanently close its Fitchburg Satellite Office.

The Worcester District Registry of Deeds opened the Fitchburg Satellite Office in 2006 in order for users in the northern part of the Worcester District to record documents without the need to travel to the Registry of Deeds in Worcester. Due to the implementation of our electronic recording program, these concerns have been largely alleviated. In addition, the closure of the Satellite Office is aligned with our on-going efforts to reduce costs while providing the best possible user experience.

Veterans Day Hours

The Worcester District Registry of Deeds and Fitchburg Satellite Office will be closed on Monday, November 12th in observance of Veterans Day.

Registry of Deeds closing early on 10/29

The Worcester District Registry of Deeds will be closing today at 3:00 PM due to Hurricane Sandy.  The Registry of Deeds will reopen during its normal business hours tomorrow, but the Fitchburg Satellite Office will stay closed.
