WINTER STORM NOTICE - Early closing on 2/8/13

The Worcester Registry of Deeds will be closing tomorrow, February 8th 2013, at 12:00 noon due to the expected winter storm.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The Registry of Deeds will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2013 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

New Years

The Registry of Deeds wishes you a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.

The Registry is open on Monday Dec, 31st during normal hours, but will be closed on Tuesday, January 1st, 2013.

Fitchburg Satellite Office Closing on 11/30/12

As of November 30, 2012, the Worcester District Registry of Deeds will permanently close its Fitchburg Satellite Office.

The Worcester District Registry of Deeds opened the Fitchburg Satellite Office in 2006 in order for users in the northern part of the Worcester District to record documents without the need to travel to the Registry of Deeds in Worcester. Due to the implementation of our electronic recording program, these concerns have been largely alleviated. In addition, the closure of the Satellite Office is aligned with our on-going efforts to reduce costs while providing the best possible user experience.
